Clarks Air Service in Vermillion Bay operate PA18 for minnow trapping and delivery. Everything is on floats tho. Slate Falls Airways in Sioux lookout operate 206 and Otters on floats and tailwheel/ wheel skies.

This is absolutely possible, as i've seen several friends take this route and did so myself. One thing you should know before hand however is this isn't the most efficient route to the airlines and if you aren't ready to burn a couple winters not flying this may not be the best choice for you.

I used a Zulu lightspeed 2/3 for the last 4 or so years and it worked pretty well for me. However you always want to make sure you have a couple extra sets of batteries on hand. The punishment for having the batteries die on you away from base was severe.
