Re: TC medical fee
Careful, they may or may not send you a bill. If they don't send it to you, they'll send it to the CRA without making and effort to contact you with your phone number or email on file.

Here's the solution.
Send him to Wuhan.
Hope he gets the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.
Pray that he learns his lesson before he gets better after a week and comes home to the same fame as Chair Girl.

Re: AC emergency
Back up landing gear lmfaoooo It’s a crappy way to explain to the public that thanks to dual wheels you can land and taxi in without every passenger being killed or worse. I expect the news agencies were told there are redundancies on every system of a modern airliner, including the wheels. Well, t...

Unlimited Travel Pass
It seems like Flair is either trying a tactic that has proven itself a failure in the past, or they are very desperate for money.

Re: Foreign Pilots in China being sent home?
I'm being told at least 5 Chinese airlines on the mainland have either released their pilots or have sent them on leave indefinitely without pay as a result of the economic effects of the coronavirus. Can anyone corroborate this and/or add any details? I haven't seen anything in the news aside from...

Landing runway 06 when the winds were reported 29022G37 and +TSRA.
So, 30 knot tailwind with a runway that likely has standing water. That's not an accident... it's poor decision making.

Watch what you wish for. The EU regs aren’t much better then Canada. And it takes way more time to figure out. Shorter days also lead to more days worked and less days off. What do you think needs changing? I think all we need is lowering duty day length with increased sectors and limiting night ti...

Why would AC hr talk to WJ hr ??? WJ: please stop hiring our pilots. AC: Oh, sorry about that. Ok. WJ: thanks I'll check on that bet; and raise you. prior to 90 days ago, there were 11 or more Encore pilots with resumes at AC, AT AND SWG. jaw dropping !!!!! The numbers you used are comical. Re: Pilot Transfer Agreement
Now that the PTA is in effect and the first bid involving all three groups is out, one question out of curiosity. There are pilots who bid over to Swoop for the upgrade and are now rethinking that decision and bidding back to Westjet as an FO. Do those pilots? A) return to year 1 FO pay for Westjet...

Got my license through a college program that no longer exists. I graduated with a certificate, 200 hours, and a CPL and Multi-IFR. Took a few years off to work and enjoy my newfound freedom. Was somewhat trying to find a job, but didn't put 100% in. Finally decided to instruct and floated around a ...

15k gross per diems, I’ll save the whole per dimes aren’t pay argument but you must be doing a ton of overtime for that. I work a 16 day month full of 3/4/5 day pairings and the odd overtime single day. Typical per diem cheque’s are 600-800$ range at most. Yeah your single days are killing your per...

You definitely need to. And for the people who tell you its not required. Trust me youll feel really stupid when you get there and 4 out of the 5 ppl are wearing one. Youll stand out for all the wrong reasons. Now ofcourse not everyone can afford one. But if you can you need to. Blue shirt and blac...

Another incident but different sort of situation. You will have to translate and then sort through the translation to make sense of it.... Most people who are happy with 705 life are happy because they avoid forums like this.
Me? I am happy in spite of being on a forum like this.

And the sad reason why many of these Encore FO’s can’t upgrade to the left seat at Encore is because they’ve been too lazy to write their A’s! True story. Bullshit. That may be the case for a few, but it all comes down to the company being reactive and not proactive. They got themselves into a posi...
