Weight is a force, and is measured in pounds, newtons, etc according to grimey...i thought by reading this that finally everybody had finally figured it out........grimey weight is not measured in pounds...maybe you are thinking of slugs? an english unit

get your multi and group 1 instrument rating for sure...who cares if it expires while you are working the ramp, when they want to put you in the right seat your ppc ride will be combined with an instrument ride and thus you are good to go. all i am saying is that that guys instructor telling him to minimize the amount of casualties on the ground is bs..fly high enough to make it to a race track, soccer field whatever..its the law and new york is very high density city..there is lots of open spaces in cowtown

water wings... if you have a nz passport all you need now is an ird number..like a social insurance number go to their website and it will tell you how to get it..then you are free to work where ever..good luck hope you find something

140 knots is the minimum speed in level flight in icing conditions...this said you should not fly at less than 140 knots in the climb unless you need to get altitude very quickly..ie fzra because 140 in the climb or level cruise = the same angle of attack...on final approach if bad icing you should ...
