Re: If not AME then??

You are their dream person The fact that he’s saying that as a new to industry learner is just so sad, and I’m sure he’s repeating that from somewhere/one else. If he organically produced that thought there are severa...

Re: Adverse Reactions Poll
Is it possible to add a choice in the poll for those that never had any experimental injections, never ever had a flu shot, have'nt been sick since before the "pandemic", and are 50+ age category? I've been in fine health since while EVERYONE who I know that is double jabbed has had covid twice, wit...

Re: Discounted Maintenance Type Courses
For me, its cost of living and taxation, and additionally almost every "desperate" employer or agency continously hounding me with the same shit offer over and over. Which in most contract cases is almost the same offer that I was getting 15 years ago. Sure, they bump up the hourly rate $10 or $15 b...

Re: Sunwest Crew Chief?
I really dont think that crew chiefing is considered a "moving up" action anymore. I cant speak directly about Sunwest, but I can tell you that many experienced guys don't want the hassle/frustration of dealing with millenials/Z's?engrish speakers on top of their daily wrenching and production expec...

Ah yes, the perspective of enthusiasts.
You are the bane of this industry with your bottomless enthusiasm and mouthfoaming passion that keeps the logic side of your brains from functioning.
Liberal's by chance?

Im curious also.
Contract offers arenot even what they were 10 years ago, in either quality or quantity, yet almost anybody I talk to goes on about how shorthanded they are and you see the same ad's repeated here.

"A220 operators have still had to grapple with some durability issues, compounded by a shortage of spare engines and maintenance bottlenecks that have collectively reduced the supply of working engines and left dozens of planes grounded." https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/pratt-engi...

Re: KBA Antarctic pay?
Antarctica is one of the few places on earth where you can't really go privately. That has a certain appeal. Okay, I cant say I even begin to understand that but fair enough. All the things I, and you, mentioned still apply and then some including the poor pay. To be fair, KBA was a known joke mone...

Re: Air Canada looking for FT exp M2 for $33 a/hr....
When one takes into account that the majority of those positions are at YYZ, YVR, etc, it really enforces how ridiculous the expectations are that they believe that people will respond en masse to thier ad's. I know the types that will, and they are more than welcome to take them. No way in hell I w...

Re: Licensed M1, sheet metal, painter, facility handyman...$25 a/hr
I guess this was to be expected but it doesnt change the reality that almost all of the current vacancies dont pay enough to live and get ahead. There will probably be more of the type described working at tofino air who will rush in but I doubt that a large number will remain when they become aware...

They're not alone in this but they've always been known for it. So to all the newbs who might be interested in working for Colonel Barry a...
