Re: Westjet to close YHZ hanger ?
They are currently managing to stay afloat due to heavy checks being conducted on the Q’s in YHZ. Only a matter of time until YYZ Q’s are no longer Ferrying to YHZ and then a cut of 2/3 of the workforce will be either offered positions out west or let go.

18 8 YYZ CRJ FO 6 YYZ Q400 FO/CA 4 YUL E175 FO Wonder if they got AC interview dates yet? Kidding. Glad to hear classes still getting filled. Still curious as to the west coast work. Are you always deadheading out of YHZ to start your day ? How low of time do they hire OTS for FO positions. than...

How low will they go?
Hi Folks,
A question I have is in the short term future (1 yr or less) do you think Encore will actually be considering and hiring 500 hour pilots? Maybe even lower? Have you or anyone you know been interviewed with low time?
Curious on peoples thoughts.

Re: IFR flight test at Cornwall
TC requires a Precision approach to be flown down to mins for a IFR flight test. That is why an ILS is a must see. An LPV is not a precision approach even though it has vertical guidance.

Re: IFR flight test at Cornwall
I did mine a couple years ago. Cornwall to YOW was an ILS followed by a hold back in Cornwall for a SCDA RNAV. Overall nothing was unexpected, just fly the procedures and you will do great.

Leading Edge placed in interim receivership
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have information on what's going on with Leading Edge geomatics based in Debert NS? I noticed on their website they have been placed in interim receivership.
