Re: Air Canada Second Trip to C.C.A.A.?

Don’t worry Cappo. AC wouldn’t abandon your precious Rouge crews. They would however abandon the Rouge brand or possibly the TS brand depending on conditions set forth if the deal is consummated. Who know maybe keep both? You’d just hold the position your seniority holds. I wouldn’t attach myself to...

Re: Air Canada Second Trip to C.C.A.A.?

I believe in healthy competition. I’m not saying that these routes belong to TS and Ac should have never entered. I just think that Ac Rouge entered the market to possibly put pressure and acquire TS. I know Ac has been profitable. Rouge itself however is a different story. I suppose after several y...

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

So you are guaranteeing a possibility? The probability of someone bidding for TRZ is there, the guarantee is AC walking away if that probability occurs. There is a real political scenario where a Quebec based firm comes to the rescue and bids. I’ve always said this transaction was over priced with ...

Sounds like the 767s will be scrapped. They may be waiting for the Garneau announcement for that.

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

Does anyone else find it a coincidence that companies who have stopped operations (SW, PD, TS) have not announced a thing about wage subsidy?
