Re: Trainee Pay

Health benefits start after graduating generic (I can't remember but you may need to wait until the beginning of the next month), dental starts three months after graduating generic. Hope that helps.

Re: Any updates on training?

Offers for YEG IFR courses starting this March went out in December. If you're hearing some offers going out recently for courses starting March they are probably for people who were on standby.

Re: Any updates on training?

I received an invite yesterday for an enroute IFR course in YEG starting March. Woohoo!

I was previously supposed to start a course there in 2020, but that course was canceled before it began.

Re: ATC application/background check

I'd be very surprised. I don't know exactly what was included in the background check, but from the information they asked for I'd say is a police check and a reference check. Nothing that would follow up on someone you lived with, only you. Hope that helps.

Re: Drug test question

The drug test I took was a urine test and had to be completed within about 10 days of receiving an offer. Hope that helps, best of luck.

Re: What does DNMF NTL mean on application?

Like someone else said I’m pretty sure it stands for “do not move forward” as in HR won’t be moving your application any further. Moosetracks, I also did the interview in Edmonton in October and am sitting on eligible for offer. Do you know anyone who got a DNMF already after the camp? As far as I c...
