YEG VFR Offer
Well, after 2 years it looks like VFR is kicking off in YEG again. Offers for VFR are being made. I had IFR as first preference but am curious for those in the know what are the general odds of placement, ease of transfer (say 5 years in?) and pay differences of the towers in AB, Whitehorse, and Yel...

Re: Applying theough the “My workday jobs” website
From what I have learned you will ALWAYS get notification that you failed a step (typically reasonably fast <1 month), and if you pass their minimum mark then you are eligible to move on to the next step for 18 months. These are basically a pool of people from current and past assessments so they wi...

Re: Applying theough the “My workday jobs” website
Your best bet is to check you email history as you should have record of your invite to take the Wonderlic test. Hiring and training for NAV has pretty much ground to a halt with COVID-19 things so it is highly probably that the already "slow" process will be slowed or delayed even further (think ye...

Re: YEG Applications process
Is this the gent from flair I was with on the 2nd group? Indeed it is! Haha to cool! Congrats on the pass, now we get to wait :/ Will be interesting to see how long the wait is. I passed the October bootcamp along with 4 other people from my day. One got a VFR offer, one an IFR and the other three ...

Re: Timing Out
I'm in YEG and honestly thought that if you made it past bootcamp would have a halfway decent shot at getting a spot on a course. From my bootcamp only half passed and were "eligible for offer" and of those 5 only 2 got offered spots. So the other three of us are still sitting on "eligible for offer...

Re: YEG Assessments upcoming
Any idea on how many people tested per FEAST day? I noticed when they sent the invite out there were lots of day choices. They have space for 10/day. There are plenty of breaks throughout the day, you'll want to bring a lunch and some snacks. They had water, coffee, and doughnuts/muffins for us thi...

Re: YEG Assessments upcoming
I just got my invite today and am testing Feb 17. Not sure what to expect really! Not really something you can prepare for, just try your best. There are three people from my bootcamp that I know of in YEG who passed the October 2019 bootcamp and are eligible for VFR/IFR offers but didn't get one f...

Re: Minimum Passing Score for FEAST Request
I applied for Nav Canada in Dec 2019 (Toronto ACC) and have done the online test also. I am very sure that I answered at least 28 questions correctly and my online status is "Assessment" since I completed the test. Any idea about what is the benchmark score for getting the FEAST test request. Also,...

Re: VFR in Yellowknife??
Hey Everyone, Hoping to get a VFR slot for next fall... but I will admit the locations are pretty bad....I will make whatever needs to happen work, and some locations are less crappy than others....but I am scared out of my wits about getting yellowknife (whitehorse would be better) mostly because ...

Re: FSS Assessment - Am I stuck with FSS now?
@Aguaymanto The job posting that I applied to was for ATC and FSS, and I honestly don't remember it having an option to select which stream, but if it had one, I would've picked VFR without a doubt, as that was the position I was most interested in. However, I did apply in October, so I definitely ...

Re: FSS Assessment - Am I stuck with FSS now?
Hi folks! Very new here, so happy to find such an amazing resource with so much knowledge! Quick question regarding my recent invitation to an in-person FSS FEAST Assessment at YEG ACC: Does this mean that I am/will be placed in the FSS stream only? Or is that something they decide after the FEAST ...

Re: yyz in person assessments
I went to the one day test at YYZ in October and was told I'd pased but haven't been called back. I've read the posts on this forum and obviously some have been called back for the 2 day testing/interviews. I assume, because i don't know, that those people did better than me. Does anyone know what ...

Re: Wonderlic Test
I took the test November 13th and i'm appying in Edmonton FIR but I chose Winniped and Vancouver as options to relocate. The thing is that I got the e-mail saying I didn't pass the test but it doesn't say DNMF though. I have foreigner air traffic control experience and ATC courses so I was consider...

Re: Wonderlic Test
How long ago did you take the test, and what FIR are you in? I'm not sure what it means but it is possible that is what Workday says this once you have applied but before they have received results from your Wonderlic, or it is also possible that they are screening applications for invitations to FE...

Re: APPLICATION FAQ ANSWERS
A conservative figure is 1 in 10 people invited to FEAST will get a training seat, and maybe 2-4 of these people will actually qualify which is probably easily <1% of initial online applicants. I'm not sure how many people actually go through the online process but from those who do, 100 or so are ...

that is a wonderful piece of information you gave to me and makes sense too. Now I have better understanding of the ins and outs of this process. I am just hoping to get invite for FEAST as early as possible. Fingers crossed. If you are invited it will likely be after the application deadline accor...

Thanks Moosetracks, this is exactly what I was hoping to end up with as my similarly titled thread evolved. Re: APPLICATION FAQ ANSWERS
Any stage of the application expires after 18 months from your last pass/fail. So for example you fail the FEAST, then you can reapply 18 months from when you took+failed the FEAST. If you do the interview and fail, then you can reapply 18 months from when you did your interview. [/quote] Thanks fo...

Re: Seeking details about FEAST rounds (after online assessment test form home)
Right so as far as the process goes you would likely be hard pressed to find specific tasks that you would encounter of either FEAST or at the Bootcamp because of the NDA. .......... that is a wonderful piece of information you gave to me and makes sense too. Now I have better understanding of the ...

Re: What does DNMF NTL mean on application?
Hi, I just completed the online assessment (FEAST, I think). How long does it usually take to hear whether you passed or not? Online assessment is not FEAST but the wonderlic test. FEAST is a day long computer based exam at a NAV CANADA facility. You are allowed to apply every 18 months and I am no...

Re: YWG Onsite Assessment - 2019
It still says "interview". Alright, sorry you didn't make it but a lot of people on here have been wondering about what DNMF means on workday (people are guessing Do Not Move Forward), but it sounds like they may have a variety of different categories or that designation does not show up with the e...
