Very, very few PPL's fly 100hrs per year. Maybe rent for a year and see how many hours you'll actually fly. It might change your equation a bit.

Correct, it pays better than the regionals and most other entry-level FO spots. No bond for the outfit I worked for.

Not sure if this helps at all, but when I did my MIFR ride a few years ago, the airport wasn't equipped with an ILS, so I did an LPV and that counted as a precision approach.

Guy had 80hrs TT and was headed for Missoula. Attempting to fly anywhere in a 182 on that particular day was insanity, Missoula would be (was) suicidal.

Yes, you can fly a 1900 in a commercial operation, as PIC, without an ATPL. As stated above, it's not a 2 crew aircraft so no ATPL required. But, also as stated above, SIC counts with a letter from your CP stating it's operated 2 crew. Confused yet??
