Re: Any Update On The New Contract?

You should include the lump sum payment for westjet pilots too.

This is a guaranteed payout twice a month. It used to be called options.

Works out to $7400/year for FO's and $10,300/year for Captains.

Those are the current hourly rates. You must have pasted the wrong numbers.

What are the new numbers?

Why are so many pilots in the USA afraid to say "mayday x3 " on the radio?

I hate when people say "declaring an emergency." It's probably my biggest petpeve.

Re: Realistic upgrade time

What do you mean historically 15 years? Do you mean 15 years as an average across Canada? Do you mean 15 years at Air Canada?

Westjet upgrades (assuming most junior base), have never been more than 10 years. Wasn't Westjet a fairly quick upgrade for the first 10-15 years of it's operation?

These numbers represent my base cash salary at the end of each year. They do not include per diems, overtime, or RRSP matching (only really applicable to 705 jobs) I also include which job I was working that would have garnered me the highest base salary that year (had I worked the entire year doing...

Re: Can a training bond that was NOT signed be enforced?

Company SMS programs are essentially useless in 703 operations. The company can still do whatever they feel like doing regardless of how many SMS reports they get. The only way change will occur is if TC gets involved. I hate that companies are allowed to manage themselves like this.

People are running illegal bots. The union and the company are now aware, and they will be fixing this within the next 15 days. Anyone caught using a bot will have their FLICA privileges revoked, and face disciplinary action. Doesn't take much to see which accounts are continually logged in 24/7, or...

You actually don't need to login using the new CFPS website to view weather or notams. You can just click the box on the top that says "weather and NOTAM." You only need to login if you want to file flight plans. This obviously makes sense because you would want your standard info to be pre filled a...

Where did the callsign "dashboard" come from? It's kind of boring.

Why not use something cool like "Raccoon"?
