Re: If your IFR rating lapses.

My IFR expired about 5 years ago and at that time if didn't renew your IFR within 2 years you lost your written exams. The way I read the new regs the rules have changed. If I decide in the future to give aviation another run do I only have to renew my medical and pcc ride to be current again? Thanks

Re: renew IFR

I thought about going to the sim at brampton but if I am going to spend money might as well have some fun.
Dear Ahramin passing an exam has nothing to do with flying, crawl back in your hole if you have nothing good to post. Most of my 2500hrs are on a Jetstream, just got sick of the pay.

renew IFR

My last IFR flight test will be four years ago this July so I have to do something before that to avoid rewriting the exams (No chance of ever passing them again). Any thoughts on doing a single IFR ride to save money as I have no plans of getting back into flying any time soon. I have not been flyi...

IATRA

Hi everyone I have a question about how long a IATRA exam is good for. I wrote my IATRA eaxm about six years ago and held a PPC on the jetstream 31 until december of 2003. My question is does your IATRA remain good for life as long as you do a ppc within two years of writing the exam or what? Thanks...

Sorry boys
I am only instructing to teach my little girl how to fly. I didn't want a 200 hour top gun pilot to teach her. Thanks rotate for the notes they are going to help.

Where did I loose you?
When you are teaching a lesson in flight, I am told you should have an outline of all the important items. A QRH of sorts.

In flight reference guide

Hello
I was wondering if any one has a printable checklist for the all the lessons taught in flight for a private and commercial rating. I see that you can by them but free is so much better.
Thanks

I just did mine. We went up for 1.5 hours and floged around. Then the flight test(1hour). My last PPC ride was 3.5 years back. Total was $900.

IFR Instruction

I was asked to teach some IFR and was wondering what you need? I think you would need an instructor rating, some actual and a current IFR but not sure.
Thanks to who ever knows the answer
