Re: Layoffs
Thanks for the tips everyone. My understanding is that I do have legal ground but... do I want/need to go there? I hope not (and I doubt it). I do trust the HR department will do what I believe is the right thing when the time comes. Just in case I will contact ACPA to at least make myself known and...

Re: Layoffs
Quick question regarding the guys and girls that got their GS cancelled a couple days prior to their official start date. Would we get called back in order of seniority or is it too bad so sad, start from scratch? A lot of us (all?) didn't get taken back from our old employer and now at every interv...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
I was part of them. Got told that we would get priority when the hiring starts again. Medical and psych eval will have to be redone. I personally haven't been told that I would have to redo the interview but know a couple pilots who got told they will have to do it again. Should we take it as a PFO?...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
From my previous post.... I did make sure to specify that news to be all before the week we had just had. I know of atleast 2 ppl with interviews this week. I will reach out to them and ask if it's still on. As for gs being delayed....that all depends on what comes of the govt announcement tomorrow...

Re: Hiring on track?
Any confirmed news regarding Ground School in April? are they frozen? I believe there is one end of March as well, any possibilities for it to be cancelled?

Re: Leaving with a bond?
They shouldn't resent you for it. If you leave and pay what you are due.. Good on you and it's fair game.
Also, don't forget the remaining of the bond you'll pay can be deducted from your tax;) I got a few 1000$ back that way.
Cheers and good luck.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
I’ve been waiting since July, cancelled my honeymoon in order to go to the interview. Still no call from AC and I can’t make any plans as I don’t know if I will get a call soon or not. Since there is no pool anymore I have no way to know if the interview went well or not. It looks like AC is mostly ...
