Well nav Canada has called a meeting at the Surrey control Center at 10:00 on Thursday to address the problems and potential changes to the existing system. All those with a vested interest in the ifr goings in the lower mainland should attend.

I know what you are going though, I get my students to call every mourning. I also call and its the same song and dance every day... "sorry, nothing untill 02:00 zulu." which is around when the freezing level decends to about ground level. Crazy how that happens every day. And another thing, I think...

Training slots in the lower mainland.

Anyone else noticed that getting a training slot in the LM has been like peeling the bark off an oak tree? To add to that, now terminal has stopped giving out training slots on the weekend.
Call me crazy but I'm starting to notice the changes in the airspace already.

1000 hours! Where were you or where would you like to be.

Just logged my 1000th hour, flying over golden ears at 7000 feet. Beautiful day, month and year.

Let me know where you where when this monkey finally jumped off your hump.
