Would you mind answering a few questions? Could you describe the scheduling there? Do crews rotate to meet the aircraf...

This thread is barely 2 months old and so much has changed. The cycle is now complete. We won’t see 1500 hour airline Captains for a while.

Has it come down to direct entry 737 Captains? Or is this just a rumour.

Re: Coming home after working overseas (ATPL)

This is a great thread, I often dreamt of cutting ties and exploring the world. I did a brief contract in Europe on a 737 in my early 30's and got a taste of the money and lifestyle. It would have been a great jumping off point but alas, I chickened out and cashed in my Left seat NG rating for a wif...

Re: What kind of watch do you wear?

Titanium, Solar Tissot touch is a great aviators watch that won't break the bank compared to the German brand. I've read that people have had problems with them but I've had a touch for 5 years and it's never let me down. The red backlighting, compass, altimeter and dual time zone are nice features....

Re: What kind of shoes do you wear?

I wear Blundstones in the winter and Rockport shoes in the summer. I've had decent Bostonians from Moores as well. They are current with style, good quality and well under $200.

Re: 737 Max delivery

Incase you missed it, nothing larger than 76 seats at the regionals for at least the next decade was just written into the ACPA contract. Stop these nonsense comments about C-Series "making sense" under the express brand. I am not naive enough to say "never." As we all know how eager pilots are wil...

Any room for Bombardiers C-Series in Air Canada's fleet in the coming years?
You would think the government would pressure them into buying local.

Yeah, and then in 5-10 years when the new start up comes in they can pay 80% of $96,000.
Repeat as necessary until wide body pilots are making regional pay.
At least it's good for ticket prices right?
