Re: Camping/scenic spots on BC coast needed asap!

Its a little inland but I would try to stop in Pemberton. Its a beautiful spot and there is a campground at the airport. There is also a golf course nearby if you're into that.

You could fly up Princess Louisa Inlet and then over the Pemberton Ice Cap.

Maybe on your return trip

Psych Eval

I just did an Air Canada interview for my second time. I felt the interview went great and the cog test pretty well. I'm just a little unsure about the psych eval. Its like rolling the dice. Does anyone know how much weight they put to everything especially the psych eval? I know it is a very secret...

Re: Question about an internal references

Hello DaveP,

Thanks for the insight. I never thought of it that way, that does make sense.

Re: Question about an internal references

Another question about internals if anyone knows. Once you have been referenced by someone or a few people is there any way of checking whether those references are attached to your file correctly? Or that all of them are there etc....?

Also wondering if you ve quit for a year or 2 does it change anything? I realize there are probably not many doctors on here but just from everyon...

I went to High School with Clayton, and played with him on the high school rugby team. I am very sad to hear about this accident as he was always a stand up guy who was liked by everyone. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

Helicopter crash north of vancouver

Does anybody know anything about a helicopter that crashed 400 km north of Vancouver on Nov 5. A friend of mine that I went to high school with was flying it, and I can't seem to find any info on it. I am not even sure what company he was working for at the time. Definately sad news, any info would ...

VFR diversion?

Just wondering if anyone out there has any funny stories of bathroom emergencies while being stuck in the airplane. (pilots or pax) The other day we had just levelled off at cruise and it hit me. I would say it was about an 8 out of 10. I was lucky after about 10 minutes it subsided, but if it had g...

From what I know the 2 that are unemployed made the choice to quit on their own. It should have had no effect on their employment status that the first 2 were "asked" to come back. The "Two Stellar Guys" are two of the best guys I know, and they would never "sewer" anybody just to get ahead. Getting...

Pascan Hiring?

One of the guys from our company left for a "job" with Pascan in Montreal. Are they actually hiring? I saw on the Pilot Career Centre web page that they had guys on furlough.

For hiring at AC are marks for high school and post secondary looked at very closely? Do they also take into account what type of degree or classes that a person took. ie. basket weaving as opposed to physics?

I have heard of their pilots and Suburban drivers collecting UI while still receiving their $50 a day. His employees are receiving such bad wages that they are forced to collect from the government as well. I don't quite understand how you can be employed but collecting UI as well. Maybe he should p...

Well I was fortunate that I did not have to be on the 747 sim. I was also lucky not to have to have an interview for towing gliders, I am flying something a little bit larger. I sense that someone is maybe a little bit jealous, what was the reason that you didn't go to Coastal. Didn't get accepted p...
