Re: YVR Base Chair Recall

Speaking of jamming, it's going on right now. YVR, YWG YUL and McKay all jamming with management right now on what's app .

Perfect session on how to retake control of the Association, rocking it out to Styx, you know it's you babe.

Re: YVR Base Chair Recall

What if we had upper level managers on the MEC? It could easily go boot them off the security list all together or have them on the MEC to trade information and work togther.

Do you want a jam session or fighting?

Re: YVR Base Chair Recall

Have you ever been to a good jam before. Both musicians paying their instruments together in operation.

Vote these guys out, mo jamming no operation with management. Big mistake in my opinion,

Re: The Forgotten Furloughs

This is where the YVR Base Chair is going ti shine. He has been tasked to leverage his relationship to get something in turn for this slip up. All the YVR guys are in good hands and let's see what will benefit the company and the pilots, shine points certainly come in handy especially for the furlou...

Re: Changezilla

Exactly Clark 767 I hear you. The collective agreement just impedes management and is an obstacle for them. I also agree with you if we need to lower our wages to make sure we are competitive then we should do it or else we will all end up at swoop. The best saying at ACPA hallways is " manage the m...

Re: Changezilla

You guys are missing the point. If management needs a work around to our collective agreement they can phone these guys . They will answer their phones and get it done, We have to help the company during these times and need guys on the MEC to use their discretion to make it happen or else we will A...

Re: Changezilla

ACPA has never been stronger. The relationship with management is equally strong. If the Company needs something or a let they phone the Chairs and it gets done to the benefit of the members. You can't replace that relationship which is a phone call away. Look at the enormous gains the membership ha...

Re: Changezilla

Don't forget Winnipeg as well. Seems like the Montreal boys will do anything to go to ALPA. They have been talking about going to ALPA for years. Hopefully this will speed up the process. Joe Depete will be in Toronto this summer to meet with the Montreal and Toronto guys.

Re: Pilot unity

If he is so bad, why haven't the Vancouver Pilots started a recall process? The Montreal and Toronto guys are pushing hard to join ALPA why is it that one group stall it.

Re: Pilot unity

Good luck. The ACPA MEC can't even get their affairs in order to do their business. The Vancouver reps tabled a motion to get rid of some of the MEC members that don't agree with their ideas. How's that for unity

Surely someone knows the politics of how the MEC works? Why don't they publish the votes? How is that accountable to their members?

Re: COVID MOA 2

Tony won't listen . He's to busy costing the Association 100s of thousands in dealing with his temper tantrum all the while pilots are on furlough driving uber to make ends meet. He's got money coming in his bank account , won't take ERIP to save a job, no skin in the game anymore other than to talk...
