Re: RSU PRogram

You forgot to add the tax implications.

For RSU's you pay the tax up front as calculated as income.

For Options the money you make (if any) is taxed as capitals gains. (less than income tax)

The more things change the more they stay the same. Typical of GGN for hiring the union rep in the front office.

Re: Wingwalkers are so pointless for 737NG's, stupid waste.

Been there done that. There is no protection for the Capt when taxing in. Thats why they rely on the lead and wing walkers. The left side is busy taxing and the right is looking right.... who looks left? ... oh yeah the wing walker who signals to the lead

If you tax at source and 20% ESP yur take home is about 1100/2 wks plus about 450 per diems for the first year. Add a couple of ot or straight time shifts and its not to bad to live on. I made it through my first year with no extra debt, wife, house 2 kids etc so its defiantely doable.

Cheers

It is basically pretty simple. A couple of questions about red pass, passport, etc. Then a bunch of westjet information, like pay, commuting, training etc and then 2 behavior based questions. Good luck.

Some runs dont have time for rest periods for extensions. The 15 hour duty day is the only way to make it work.

Well I have had many king air windshields crack or shatter. If you plan on using it then turn it on and leave it on. I use -10 as a reference point. If it is colder than that then it should have been on before. If it is warmer than than that it shouldn't be a factor and will either melt away or the ...

The Vne changes with the addition of the spar strap which increases zero fuel weight upto 11000 pounds. It reduces the Vne to 249 Kts. That is the only time the 200 is not a high performance airplane. (NC's are not high performance) PPC vs PCC. As stipulated, if the aircraft is operated under 703 si...
