Re: Rouge

There are positives about Rouge... Its a good place to go if your a junior ACPA member - ACPA Pilots - Socialized Bidding - Overtime opportunities - Productive flying - Nice equipment (with cool paintjob  ) I can't see how Rouge will fail since they are taking over certain mainline routes with...

Re: Air Canada Interviews

I think hiring needs is determined every 2 months when a bid comes out. I am also in the pool and am wondering as well if PIT courses are offered in order of when the pool letter was received.

Re: Air Canada Interviews

I just did a medical with air Canada and I'm mid 30's, wife, 3 kids, mortgage all my time but 2000hrs were on 704 or 705 machine. Have around 5000hrs. I think the interview and personality tests is what gets you hired.

Re: low time pilot-looking for direction

With the way the industry has evolved, a low time pilot has no other choice but go north and work on the ramp or dock. You could stay in a city and get a instructors gig but if you eventually want to move away from that sorta thing and fly turbines your gonna have to go north. Bite the bullet and go...

From what I understand it was when they went in direct competition with Air Canada doing the YUL-YQB-YZV-YWK run with their Dash 8's. The owners Son was the one who pushed for this run so I hear. ...
