Re: MEC pay

Doing a great job? How do we know this? We have seen zero articles so far. I will judge when the TA comes out. As for their pay increase, it's BS. The regular member is working on a stale work contract, they have given themselves a raise before the membership. This is after they gave away the summer...

Re: Retirees Lose Decision re C2 and B1 Passes

Retired in 1991, FFS lady go enjoy what little time you have left and stop tying your panties in a knot. I will bet next month's ACPA pay advance that she was an FA. How many pilots at Jazz and AC were born after 1991? At Jazz 50 % sounds about right, at AC : probably about 100 out of 4200 pilots. ...

Re: Best guess when recalls could happen

Number 4, trana-ocianic: The only large airline we have in this category is Air Canada. And from what I have read above I think the 2023 recall timeline is accurate. With such a large network of flying, most of the world will need to be vaccinated before AC will actually be able to justify flying t...

Re: Air Canada deal dead

No. Air Transat will do fine, almost 600 M$ in cash remember. I think Transat is in great financial shape.
Company rumeur right now is we get the sleeping 787 from Norwegian for Atlantic crossings after Air France buys 49% of AT.

If Air Canada doesn't buy Air Transat, can both pilot groups elect to merge the lists anyways?

I just got a line of credit approved at the bank with the news on AC buying TS today! Everyone and their mom knows this is going through.

Can someone send me the SOP's for the 777? I would like to start studying early. Send me a pm and I will give you my e-mail. A pdf file would be nice.

Re: Cargo TA

The big question here is how you consider inactive pilots. If you ratio active between themselves then same thing with inactives. That would be a fait start as TS right now brings not that much work but 500 inactive pilots. It really depends on the timing of that snapshot. Right now the most junior...

I have 6 years at Air Transat, I expect 6 Years at Air Canada. This merger is out of my control, why would I not get Date of Hire, it's only normal? no?

Re: Cargo TA

The EU could give a rats ass about a merger and how that affects recalls between ts and ac pilots. What they care about are the business derivatives which impact their Industry, to which ac offered the required concessions. As for whether ts pilots and mechanics will be needed or not and as for who...

At 1:44 of the video we see the pilot makes a bad decision! It's clear on the right!! Why go towards bad conditions on the left. I don't get it
