Re: pilotes air canada

Dans ma classe on était âgé de 26 à 42 ans. Dans mon cas ça pris 10 ans avant d'arriver chez AC. Peut-être un peu plus long que certains du au fait que j'ai terminé mes licences en même temps que 9/11. 5500 heures.

Thanks for all your replys! I called AC and the lady could not do anything to speed the process up, and she told me that since I was starting at Jazz, that my name would be in the pool of those who wants to transfer to mainline.

Hopefully it's for the best.

Bad timming!!!!!

I can't believe this is happening to me! I've got a course date at Jazz, and I've got to send all my papers in for Jan 2. That's great, but I missed a call yesterday from Air Canada main line for an interview. I can't return the call because the offices are closed until Jan 2. Any idea on what to do...

I am not in charge of the ground school. The sim is in St-Louis USA. Hotel won't be a problem we already stay at the marriott. I guess I'll be spending 2-3 days per candidate. I know all the paper work involved, I've been training captain in the past. I was thinking like 10 Gs more per year, does th...

How much you think....

Hello everyone, I am currently captain on a twin turbine (704) and I was asked if I was interested in giving pilot training on the airplane's flight simulator down in the states. Of course my answer was yes, and I will get a raise wich I still have to discuss with the DFO. What do you think I should...

For your info, the F-35 Joint strike fighter has been in testing for quite a while now. You will find tons of info on it on the web. Canada is thinking about buying some, since it was involved in the program.[img]http://www.jsf.mil/downloads/wallpapers/parisair_1024x768.jpg Might be the Canada's nex...

Pilot or carpenter?

I am just wondering how many of you guys (third level pilot flying Navajos and turbines) still have to go in the office when you are not flying to do all kinds of work like:taking the garbage to the dump, clean airplanes, build shelves for the office, move furniture around, assisst with invoicing, s...

We just had the GNS 480 installed and I have not flown the plane yet, but that's what they are saying in the book.

The gps is waas, wich means it uses ground station plus satellites to determine it's position. i guess you could find more info on the garmin website.

We are using CNX 80 now the GNS 480 for Nav/com/gps system. Works realy good. Lnav and Vnav capable. One of our plane is equipped with a 430 and CNX 80, and the last one is far more easy to use, and the display is so much bigger and clearer. Our fleet is being converted to GNS 480.
