Re: JAZZ sold?

"If it's DOH for everyone on both carriers with the same priority, then I don't have a problem with it." -Tony Tony this is exactly the way it is now, C2 priority. Jazz employee doh march 2000 and AC employee doh may 2000 priority to jazz and vice versa if the dates are switched and that is on both ...

Re: Working Part Time While at Jazz

Isn't that pitiful :( Our F/Os have to work second jobs at this level of our careers to make ends meet!!! Unless you just want to work extra because you enjoy it, I guess that would be different. I think that tells me something about our contract and the negotiations that are coming up! Good luck to...

Why are we all retarded? The people that train for the tune of about 50 grand give or take. put two or more years into their training. then work at jobs that pay 3 and a half to 5 dollars an hour, with hopes that one day they can work for a company making crappy wages for the next few years flying c...

What are the terrible working conditions, and what do you mean lack of training. As for Abuse on the body, it sounds like it is not a career type job then. And I know this is going to be a can of worms!!!!

Yes those sits for 2 plus hours are the worst. My idea is that we get paid for sitting any longer than an hour. that would do two things, keep the sitting to a min and shorten the days making them more productive. might not be the right idea but ...

BC, I ran the numbers (allbeit ceudely) that works out to about 15million a year. first quarter profits 46 million. doable. Also I think that our f/a b scale is atrocious.

BC, Well I think that a $20 per hour increase is a nice start. straight across the board, starting year 4. I think that after year 4 you are possibly likely to stay, and this gives the f/o's what I think is a livable wage and something to stay for to make this company their career. Because everythin...

What I think that Jmad is really upset about is not the fact the starting wages are low just like all the other airlines, but that the wages dont go up to a respectable wage at all in the future (at least for the f/o 's) and if you happen to live in yvr or yyc the upgrade times are very long. I thin...

I think that if they could raise the FO wage to a more respectable level after say the 3rd or fourth year, then Jazz would be an amazing place to be. As it is the only reason people are leaving. (my opinion) It is to hard to live in these cities YVR YYC YYZ even YUL, with a family on the wages. The ...

Be genuine. Contrary to what seems to be a popular opinion out there Jazz is a great place to work. They want people that can fit in with the professional but easy to work and get along with attitude that we have. ( I think) If you can put up with the wages until you can get left seat in yyz or yul ...
