Re: Tower audio from Jan. 30 CIRVIS report... Your thoughts? What was it?

If so, the folks at Starlink really ought to start communicating with Nav Canada, Transport Canada, FAA, etc.
So many aviators are reporting lights like these and they deserve answers.

Another case for the armchair -- and actual -- investigators on here... Can you crack this CADOR? I'm currently researching unusual observations in Canadian airspace. This one seems to defy a Starlink explanation, no?

Re: Can you crack this CADOR? Incident from Dec. 2019...

Starlink indeed! Around the time they first launched, the RCMP and NORAD both saw a big spike in UFO reports. It just makes one wonder how many strange sights are misinterpreted due to a lack of information. I have a few more cases that I plan to share with AvCanada over the coming days. I imagine a...

Re: Unusual traffic in Canadian skies?

I'm currently looking to talk to pilots who have encountered odd traffic in Canadian airspace, such as unusual drones/UAV/lights/objects/etc. My goal is to show that 1) events like these happen in Canadian airspace, and 2) find out if Canadian officials take the flight safety and national security ...

Re: Unusual traffic in Canadian skies?

But do keep in mind that although all of those stories cover rather serious subjects and require quite in depth reporting, none are related to aviation (again, please do correct me if I'm wrong here). There's still a lack of experience with regards to aviation, that to be fair, you are clearly aimi...

Re: Unusual traffic in Canadian skies?

Amazing story. I had a similar experience while camping in Death Valley, California, but until recently I always just dismissed it as something from one of the nearby military bases.

Re: Traffic you cant explain

Hahaha! I’ve seen two. Orb like. Once when I was flying from cyql-Cyxh. It just hovered in the sky for what seemed like minutes and I thought it must be a helicopter as that’s what the light looked like but then it just disappeared. There was a bit of cloud so I assumed it must be behind it. But wh...
