hi guys

i need some info please
i am looking to join a school/charter anywhere in canada but not sure which one offers lots of flying hours as an instructor, pays good money(25-35$/hour), plus you move up fast to the charter side?

im located in montreal the wintere here is not so bad Feb is the worst month

Any instructors here from montreal?

i guess in winter you can give ground school and lots of sim

you need at least 5 students to keep yourself busy

You have to make a choice and go for it either instruct and see where it will take you or work the ramp and hope that even after a year or so of not flying will still get you in the right seat.... I've seen some crazy guys who went to eagle jet bought 500 hrs of turbine time spent over 25000$...wow ...

well the aviation industry can be frustrating sometimes...ive applied almost everywhere and not even one reply yet....i have over 400 hrs with 100 multi still nothing...
im even thinking of getting my instructor license but it is so damn expensive.

Well guys i don't think it's normal that you have or even choose to work ramp to get a flying gig later. A professor doesn't have to be janitor before teaching, so why should we. That's why there are so many pilots go abroad for a real flying gig. If everyone would say no to the ramp jobs maybe the ...

well at 40k that's allready double of what CFI's make here in canada, besides why is it so bad if you go to the airlines with only 600hrs? It's better then here you have to get to 1000hrs then you have to work ramp somewhere for a year or 2 then if you get the chance to fly they don't pay good....ye...

ohhh yeahhh i should give them a call then if they do it would be great i rather instruct there and build twin time then up here in canada where you get to fly roughly 500hrs all year

cool i got my multi commercial from aviator and got 100hrs on the multi its a cool place since you get to build lots of multi time, but you need to be american to work there, they use to issue J1 visa that will allow you to work and get paid but i don't think they do anymore They have the M1 visa yo...
