Can't keep a route with empty seats. During the highway closure up there Pasco flew people from penticton to kelowna at a loss to try and rally support within the community. If true, I am surprised they weren't able to make this route work.

Re: Info on Vancouver Island Plane crash
Simon is a great guy, this is a huge lose. One of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. Pasco was fully within their rights to initiate their own search, but on a 20 minute flight that set out at 7am, authorities should have been notified and a formal search in progress by 08:30 local ti...

I'm planning on doing real-estate and mortgage broking on the side. They don't require degrees Good luck with that, I'm sure they're easy enough jobs to do well "on the side". Back to your question, does it have to be a degree or can it be a diploma? In the lower mainland there is BCIT, which has a...

pah! I'm willing to bet $50 and my left nut that in 50 years planes are still flying on oil.

There is a lot of information on headsets if you use the search function. That being said I used my DC 13.4 for 5 years and never had an issue. They're still perfect and work great. I now have a set of bose X, super great, the anr is unreal. When I first started using them I thought something was wr...

Re: Boundary Bay & flight training???
Sunny summer days at czbb are busy. You get used to it. Once in a while you might have to do a couple circles outside of the zone before they let you in, because of congestion, this is often just a few minutes and is rare. We have 3 practice areas. Pitt, Glenn, Cherry Point. Cherry point is about 10...

Re: CPL Questions
My experience with students is that it is best to do the written first. You would be amazed how many people do the flight test and then take over a year to do the written, which means they have to do the flight test again! Not only is that a waste of money, it's stressful. If you're in a bind then j...

most of their instructors if I am not mistaken are 64 week BCIT Grad's You're mistaken. Some of them are. Some instructors have been there for over 3 years too! Which, in this day, is a lot. For you to make that comment is a BOLD and inaccurate generalization. There are a lot of other schools at CZ...

Yeah I've heard a couple of people have some pretty strange schedules for January. However I believe the pay change doesn't have anything to do with the way they changed doing the schedules. Regardless of the pay changes the electronic scheduling process was going to be put in place. That is how I u...

Captain 152, where on earth are you getting your information? Nothing has been decided upon, and no deal has been reached! They haven't even proposed one yet.

I'm trying to move to the east coast. Is it possible, or likely, to get a Halifax base? Or would you have to take any base for a couple years then get a Halifax base. I really have no clue about jazz but I have about 1000hrs 705ops and 2000TT.
