Re: Investigated by TC

Well it has been a journey of information so far. Thanks to all for posting with advice. There was another crew member on board when this happened. He wrote an incident report as per sms. His report, I thought, was a little off and my letter from TC is almost verbatum of that report. So, there is a ...

Investigated by TC

Touchy one here. Recently recieved a letter informing me that I am being investigated by TC for 'a possible violation of the CARS'. Should I be getting the lawyers lined up or just sit back and see where it goes? Other than that if any have been through this before any advise would be good to hear.

Canadian North?

Hello all, I'm looking for some input from CDN pilots (or anybody else) about the company. I'm in a 703 op right now on a twin turbine looking to make a move. All the focus is on Jazz but I'm more interested in CDN. The questions are as follows, any input is appreciated : What is the company morale ...

Yes, I've heard that a good way to get into WJ is to go through Jazz, but if taking that route what sort of timline are you looking at with a Jazz contract?

And, what would the repercussions be by breaking the contract and moving over to WJ?

Aspiring to WJ

Hello all, I'm just looking for a bit of advice here with regards to WJ. My goal is to be a part of WJ within the next 5 years and if there are any paths that can be taken to get that first interview a little bit earlier, I'm wondering what I can do to get there. I currently have 2000tt and 1500 pic...

Fiji Operators

Hey fellas, I'm thinking of trying my luck in Fiji over the winter this year and am looking for a little info on the operators out there. Wondering if email is the best way to get the attention of the CPs out there? Is it worth while to head out there? Any truth to the rumours of shotty maintenance?...

Fuel Grounding on Water

Does a float plane tied up to a dock on the water need to have a grounding wire attached to it from a fuel tank that sits on rubber tires on the shore? Also do plastic gerry cans present a risk of static when filling fuel, or is it bs?

Reasons for your answers would be good. Thanx
