Re: Could YWG have reliable service to Europe?…please!
Ah YWG, jewel of the prairies. Not enough seating area at the departure gates you say, well how about them toilets! Two urinals and two toilets in a little cubicle spaced about 5000 feet apart from one another! Lets not forget those check-in kiosks, placed strategically in the middle of floor on the...

You can also check out For the Love of Flying a book by Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail. It is the story of LAS and there might be some info in there.

Re: Help from any Jazz pilots
I've been hearing about the impending arrival of Electronic Flights Bags when I was flying the Fokker. Those Spey powered WHISPERJETS have been parked since 2002. Yup that's 11 years. For over a decade some muckie muck management type has been giving ole Turdo the same song and dance. Now we're told...

What a surprise! I'm dumbfounded! Had a look in the "impartial" Calgary Herald and found no articles related to an emergency with a WestJet flight. How can this be?
The Calgary Horrible usually sugar-coats any WJ accomplishment though. Westjet farted! Smelled like Roses! Pictures on page 3.

Citation75. No you are not out to lunch. Southern Frontier which was purchased by KI had a Citation 2. This is probably the aircraft you are talking about.

You're right. Per diems are not to be considered when calculating child support payments no matter what your ex and her lawyer tell you.

It'll be interesting to see if the Calgary Herald -the mouthpiece of Westjet- picks up this story.

Re: ACPA to fight Jazz's 757 acquisition
Air Canada was the ONLY flag carrier in the world that operated a 50 seat airplane. Why because only those who have had the chip implantation procedure done are smart enouigh to fly jets. Yup thats right you heard it here, everybody just doesn't measure up. See, you need a certain je ne c'est quoi, ...

Re: Jazz & Thomas Cook = 6 757's
Sure might be some 25 year Dash guys bidding the Boeing ( if it REALLY shows up) but ole Turdo hasn't flown anything with props for 20 odd years. What's the difference, taking some old fart who spent his life flying a DC-9 Whisperjet at AC or say NWA and then have him bidding onto the 75? Pull back ...

Re: Ahhhh YYC sometimes you just have to laugh.
So Turdos sitting on the ramp in YLW, FO calls for the clearance and we get a flow time for YYC. So its SNAFU as usual in YYC. Next ground advises us that we will be held enroute even after waiting on the ramp for 45 minutes. Now Turdos no brain surgeon but isn't the whole idea of a slot time suppos...

Re: New tour company could transform Jazz
Hold the bus. Turdo's gonna be flying a Boeing!! Calling Aviation World right now, ordering those 737 manuals! Uncle Turd's eyes aren't what they used to be so hopefully they come in Braille. Look we're dealing with a department that couldn't find charter work if it was handed to them on a silver pl...

Re: Southern Air Cargo to use Prince George
This is a pipe dream. Don't know how many times Ole Turdo watched as those pulp mills on the approach to RWY 15 turned the place WOXOF in a hurry. Yup airlines will be lining up, gonna stop at YXS, get some gas and a shine, in and out in 45 minutes. Its crazy I tells ya, crazy!

ACPA vs ALPA
I saw part of an e-mail from ALPA yesterday saying that they will no longer support the lawsuit by the Air Ontario pilots against ACPA ( re Picher Award. 242 Squadron etc). Again, I only saw the first part of the message in the YYC crewroom, soooo Turdie wants to know the rest of the story. Is this ...

I have one of these "Maxwell Smart" metal cases and I wouldn't buy another one. This thing is frankly a pain in the ass. It barely fits into the CRJ and deadheading with it is a exercise in patience. Can't fit under your seat and try finding space in the overhead for your RollerBoard and this metal ...

Had the pleasure of meeting "The Giver" a few years ago when my F/O, a former Bearskins Pilot and I were having breakfast in YWG.
