Yes, unfortunately you will probably never know why. They may not like something that you have posted on social media, or some kind of background check. What do they see when they google your name? . So keep on keeping on. No use crying about it on here. Lots of us have been PFO'd from places that we really wanted to work...it's not the end of the world that one of the lowest paying regionals didn't hire you.. I was not crying! I was trying to say they didn’t even bother interviewing me Atleast...

A PFO from both Porter and Encore might sting, but that's the industry. Unless there is something specifically out of place with your resume or background, it's likely that they are both looking for more/different experience. Yeah so unfortunate, its so discouraging!
