Curious, did you go this route for some reason in particular? Or was it forced on you, ie; did you get turned downed from more established...

Re: Poll: Anti-Vax content on AvCanada

But it is what we're talking about. I call the 5% of anti-mask "scientists" conspiracy theorists. But that's not entirely my point. If 5% of scientists tell me not to wear masks, and 95% of them do, and I give equal weight to all "experts", then I am therefore 95% in favour of keeping masks on. To ...

I won't believe a geologist or astrophysicist who claims the Earth is flat either, no matter what their credentials are. They're wrong, and that debate is settled. If 5% of them all said the Earth is flat, I would still laugh them out of the room. To be fair though, that one was settled centuries a...

Re: UK Variant of covid is 55 percent more lethal

Your math assumes every Canadian has had the disease and been infected with covid? I prefer the IFR... actual infection vs deaths... and not any death with covid, deaths because of covid. CDC has a guesstimate of 0.5 percent average. Less for young people, and higher for older people. We will never...

I believe, in Canada anyway, that if the union were to put out a policy or even a recommendation of no OT, that is considered job action and is illegal.

That is a huge number statically. Imagine a hockey player scored 55 percent more goals in a season.. Happens all the time. Usually the guy is a goon that nobody pays attention to until the gloves come off. And that is the problem with all of these statistics. They have low sample sizes and are skew...

Re: Vacation bookings through the roof in Europe. Easyjet up 600%

Are we, canadian airlines, anticipating that the barbaric 14 day hotel quarantine will be gone by the start of summer? There is no mandatory 14 day hotel quarantine. 3 nights in the hotel, then you can go home and do the rest of the 14 days there. But yah, I know, many here have reading comprehensi...

Wow Q400 with 90 seats

They steal 20% of the cargo area to add 12 seat, reduce the pitch to 28”, it’s already uncomfortable but you can bet Canadian operators will be looking at this. I believe Jazz is scoped to 78 seats but I’m not sure right now if this is for jets only. Edit: looks like MPA(Medium prop aircraft) is def...

Great, why can’t there be an agreement all new hires are! After all if the grievance were in our favour, Voyageur pilots would be Jazz pilots. Anyhow, something worth looking in to.
