Re: Strike lanyard
I find none of this amusing. I’m very disappointed as well. Seen the movie too many times. This one is not on Virginia, not on Charlene. This one is squarely on the membership. We could have had this done in May How we as a group, facilitated this through the summer is a true testament to the colle...

Obviously wages are a huge issue, but thats all anyone hears about - but I'm wondering if you guys have come to agreements on other parts of your contract such as schedules, GDO's, the stupid flat pay, and whatever other areas you need improvement in. I think this is the latest update on what been ...

MYID standby travel
Is the company able to track the use of standby travel on the MYID booking system on other airlines the way it can keep track and audit employees use of standby travel through the AC network?

Who’s the absolute idiot who signed the prior contract? 10 years? 2% a year, right? Gentle Question. Are you absolutely brain dead? Whenever I inform my non-aviation people that’s the very reaction I receive. It wasn’t incompetence but greed and core betrayal of the ACPA MEC members. They were in b...

Re: Air Sprint Salary
Just food for thought. I understand they are not considered an airline however they are a player in Canadian aviation who compete for pilots. Air Sprints new pay scales now have them making more money than; WestJet, Flair, Porter ( Air Canada in some regard) Etc. To fly a light jet! I imagine this ...

Airsprint just revised their pay scale for the pilots. The gains are good but disappointing they still have not tied the annual increases to inflation/CPI.

Re: A read for all negotiating pilots - Even the Meter Reader job, which requires no education makes $70k a year!
Airsprint tried this merit system with several points given weights and then calculated using a formula which would spit out a pay raise each year. It would have a range from a marginal pay raise to a top level pay raise. This was in force for a couple years and it was a disaster. The system was det...

Other HR folks: if you want to attract employees, this is how to do it. Hmmm so skimming (stealing 🤔) 10% from everyone’s wages in 2020 and making the pilots work an extra day each block for free right into 2021 while bragging about record profits and buying new planes is the way to be eh…. It took...

Don’t count on any at airsprint… they tell the clients “don’t worry about tipping the pilots, their tip is built into their pay…” 🙄 I can understand a company not wanting to have a weird dynamic for their clients where tipping is expected.
