14 hour duty days are pretty much the norm for medevac operations(the ones I've experienced anyways)and they DO get overtime pay if working over 40 hour week or 2080 in a year. Plus they actually get a paid day off in lieu when working a statutory holiday. Not many companies flying medevacs have any...

Not sure what you heard V1 but 5 days on 5 days off and 55G's to start doesn't sound too bad to me......and from what I've heard they are getting some good flying time in.

I normally don't post but here goes... Get anything made of leather or sheepskin. Sheepskin hat that has the ear flaps and you can get boot liners as well(throw away the crappy felt ones that come with your sorels). If you are looking for wool socks, which by the way are the best, get Alpaca socks. ...
