Look at the new ad 75 K to fly a van around for a year hmm not too bad at all if you ask me.

Just a thought usually we fly 1200 miles / day. So 30,000 plus 120 /day + per diem. do the math.

F/o's are only .02 per mile so even a 30K base FO wont get same pay as CAPT.

Yr 2 captain gets .12/ mile etc...

That wage would make sense for a FO.

I dunno about ignoring companies if they dont send a reply. But I sure the ones that send a generic auto reply a LOT better.

Instruction the students get is pretty much dependent on who your instructor is. Some are very good, some are very bad... We still issue you a J1 currently most of our instructors are foreign because the american pilots go to airlines at 600 hrs...

I'm having similar problems however I don't have my ATPL exam's done yet as i'm currently working in US and employers seem to want that or the IATRA, long trip back for one test.

still should have letter of verification of foreign medical. Otherwise FAA lic. will be valid with a Canadian medical if on the back it says based on a foreign lic. Medical - At least class 3 if for private, class 2 for commercial etc. PIC currency the 3 TO/Ldgs in 90 Days for PAX 2 yr flight review...
