Fits nicely with the Canadian user pay model.

Where have I seen that name before?

This industry is incestuous.
Seems she's chair of the board. Even stranger is that Jean Charest is on their board? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Looks like they're hiring. If nothing else, it seems they have the work/life balance thing sorted out.

Re: No vote full of regret

I was surprised when a senior colleague told me that he was voting NO....not a hard no, not a hell-yes no...just no. I asked him why he would do that...he told me that he was voting no and waiting for the inevitable complaints next week from his junior FOs and RPs about flat pay.... I said, "that's...

Re: Snowbird accident 😢

I wonder if they should get the team flying Hawks. I don’t think that is an option as the Hawks I believe are leased not owned by the RCAF And second I don’t think the RCAF has any intention on ever upgrading the Snowbirds Interesting. I suppose they could purchase those ones or other ones if there...

Re: How difficult is it to become an RCAF pilot?

Bumping with an update. I've been accepted to the RCAF pilot program. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can best prepare for PH1,2,3? I'd prefer not to break the bank by spending 10s of thousands of dollars on civvy flight training, but if that'll make a huge difference between me succeedi...

1) The single engine piece wasn't the deal-breaker for the Viper back when we acquired the Hornet. Back then, the Viper was essentially WVR only with no ability to carry a BVR/Radar missile. There are 2500ish Vipers out there in the world, and they fly or have flown in Arctic climates, and are const...

Re: Updating Application

I think the robot is smart enough that it will just merge your applications. I uploaded 2 docs via 2 separate applications (had reason to believe it hadn't worked the first time) and it merged both docs onto the same profile. So updating is likely easiest.

Commuting at Jazz

Hi All, I've searched the forums, seems to be some stuff laced throughout - but just wanted to try and get some consolidated info. Is Commuting at Jazz worth it/realistic? I live 1 hop from YUL on a Jazz operated route. I get the basing lottery, and other associated caveats. Does the schedule of a n...
