Re: GEtting accpeted in Seneca

not that difficult to get in. it will cost you upwards of $40,000. once you're in they'll go out of their way not ot kick you out of the program (unlike the good old days). unless you keep screwing up again and again. students have gone off the runway and had prop strikes and they're still in.

I remember my friend not being hired by the current CFI because he had seen my friend's car slide in the snow, ending up against the chainlink fence in the parking lot. The CFI arguement was that my friend showed poor decision making skills and thus causing him to lose control of his car in the slip...

getting back on topic....Class 1 would get 42/hr, class 2 35/hr, class 4 maybe at 25/hr.
But if Dave don't like you your qualifications don't matter ....you're not getting in

Sorry if this has been discussed before: I talked to Collectcorp in Toronto. The woman on the phone said Collectcorp is only trying to collect on b...

John will train you out of Canadian flyers or Island Air. Most of Island Air's instructors didnot do their instructor's rating at Mel's school. Instructors did go next door to Canadian flyers because Mel was playing favourites in assigning students. The guy that went up nort to fly a Falcon is now n...

"wasn't me " is right. There were backroom deals between mayor miller and Deluce. There will be a bigger and better ferry (imagine if the ferry is 100feet long and is used to get across 300 feet of water!!) and the permits for Deluce to operate his airline from the island. A lot of men in suits have...

yes, this is good for aviation. i plan to apply if things get going.
but if Miller didn't interfere the tax payers money wouldn't have been wasted and we would have a nice bridge across those 300 feet of lake ontario.

The initial installations for Deluce's airline, ie. offices etc. are already being setup. He has been around the island lately. I think his operation will be running by may 06. Meanwhile Torontonians got duped by Miller, the island squatters, the million dollar condo owners and the media into paying...

The majority of Seneca grads give up flying as a career a couple of years after graduation. Her majesty's money used to be wasted. Now, however, students pay about 3300/semester times ten semesters. So I think we'll be seeing a different attitude from seneca grads.

Seneca now charges over 3000 per semester x 10 semesters. i wonder what the benefits are of going that route. added to this are costs for books daily transportation, meals, housing etc.

in the old guide if you had a 1 you still passed that ex. now a 1 means fail. they've eliminated the 0 and the 5 in the marking scale. that leaves you with above average, average , below average and fail. i think it is easier to mark.
