Re: What type of aircraft does Santa fly?

Lets look at the facts: He needs good short field performance. He needs a lot of cargo room. He needs the ability to land on snow. He is based at the North Pole. He likes the colour red.

I think its pretty obvious he wet leases a KBA Twotter

:prayer: to the crew of R209, and the entire 442 Sqn. I always have a mix of emotions whenever I see 442 overhead, happy to know you are out there, but sad to see your services were needed.

Re: Sean Avery

Yes, Sean Avery is a douche bag, but that is his role and he is very good at it. Watch the clip is slow mo, Smid challenges Avery, Avery looks un-interested, until Smid whacks Avery's stick. Now Avery is interested and drops his gloves while Smid is looking right at him. Smid NEVER looked away from ...

Re: Bulk Fuel Delivery

We use PetroValue in Vancouver, but they are a cross-country operation. They are always flexible and reliable. I think our minimum order is 4,000L for Avgas. Because they are an independent distributor, they can shop around to find you the best prices.

Mac-friendly Garmin simulators

Hello friends,

I am doing my initial IFR at the moment and the next step is intro to GPS navigators. I tried the Garmin site but their sims are for PC only. Anyone here know of a Mac-friendly (preferably Garmin) GPS simulators, either online or downloadable.

Thanx for your help,

Chris

Re: Westjet Seatback IFE...??

I think I missed something. What did 12/25 have to do with IFE screens?

Also, I flew AC and United on 12/27 and 01/09 and IFE was on for all four flights.

Re: Now it's really stupid - no cabin bags allowed

Whats really bizarre is that these new security measures seem to only apply a/c bound TO the US, and not within it. I flew from YVR to LAX on the 27th and it was a gong show, extra screenings, warnings, full pat-downs for everyone, carry on limits, staying in seats for last hour and all that crap. B...

Re: iPhone or iPod Touch apps for flight planning

Use FlightTouch for my E6B and AeroWeather for my WX. I Like FlightTouch for the E6B functions as well as climb/descent planning. I does everything and more than the wheel, but much faster and easier to use. I have never taken full advantage of the leg navigation feature, as you have to input the La...

before the wet season arrives/b].....hmmmmm, been outside today? My favorite place is Sandpiper Golf Course in Harrison Mills. Land on the side of the 17th hole, and have lunch at the great little restaurant. Even play a round. Not too many people can say they went fly-in golfing. http://maps.googl...
