Re: Class Action Suit Against Westjet.
I remember Air Canada got lambasted in the press regarding this subject a few years ago. A lawsuit was launched as well! Can't recall how it ended though.

Re: Westjet strands flyers in Moncton during March break
Yah, you keep bragging there Realitychex, why don't you throw in a " have you seen my T4". while you're bragging about money in the bank, GS is figuring out how he's going to claw back 100 MILLION dollars from the ever faithful owners, that should be a little reality check for you. Of course if you...

Re: Westjet strands flyers in Moncton during March break
Unfortunately, there are a plethora of outfits in Canada that simply don't have the commitment to customer service, let alone the cash in the bank, to be able to do this sort of thing. It sounds like you are affiliated with one of those sorts of outfits. Interesting analogy! Of course you're never ...

Re: Westjet strands flyers in Moncton during March break
there is this site... http://www.aircanada.ca check it out, you can buy tickets on AC. Aroundthewing maybe you should reread. I think my post makes it clear there is no story be it AC, WJ, or any other airline for that matter. Flights get cancelled for many reasons, dont like it take the bus...

Re: Westjet strands flyers in Moncton during March break
Come on, there is no story here. Just poor reporting. You would think that you pilots would know better than to just be looking at wx in yqm. Maybe the plane was caught in wx else where and never made it to yyz to operate the flight. Correct...no story here unless it pertains to Air Canada!! Funny ...

I still think Milton let WJ of the hook way too easily!! Maybe re-open the case...you know...to see how "unfair" that was and put AC at a disadvantage!!

"We" being the Pilots and AME's at Air Canada; the disconnect between the two Airlines is on the unskilled labour side. You do not see a WJ Rampie leaning on his tug, staring into space, while an Aircraft is forced to come to a full stop because this guy can't move ten feet over and put two sticks ...

Re: Here's a radical thought...
AC F/A's are (already) grossly overpaid compared to WJ and the Airline offered them an increase and it wasn't good enough. For the most part (there are exceptions) AC's ramp service is a disaster of useless, overpaid, underskilled employees with bad attitudes. The CAW (ticket agents) all get raises...

For all of you that wish AC should go under, or think that some other airline will be able to pick up the slack in a short period of time Mig, I'm sure that some members here, as well as all the idiotic commenters on CBC.ca and the G&M.com, feel that the day after AC shutters the operation, that WJ...
