Re: Voyageur BE200 Capts.
Doc I appreciate where you are coming from. But I fail to see how Val taking out a loan for 8k in my name or signing a bond for 8k is really any different. Either way if I leave early I'm left paying the bill. There are still lots of companies, like Winair in the sunny Caribbean for example, that wo...

Canadians Flying in Asia
I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck or knows of anyone with Canadian licences that got hired in China. I was looking more into the regional airline side of things as I'm not type rated on a Boeing or an Airbus. Any help or information would be really appreciated.

Re: Is Sault College losing it's good reputation?
Having gone to SC myself, I can tell you that I didn't fully appreciate my experience there until a few years after I left. I believe the moment came to me on a PPC ride that my company underprepared me for (ex. Here's the a/c for 1 hour, go learn how to fly it...what? you didn't get any ground scho...

Yeah Widow, just hang in there and when you are ready try it again. It took me a couple of "practice days" of seeing if I could go just one day. That way it didn't seem so bad. I used alot of mental stuff too. Like everytime you have one, tell yourself that you are stronger then this and you don't n...

.80@410 I normally don't get involved in these pissy little girl fights that happen over the internet, but I just can't let this one slide. I'll have you know that not only is vaghanna a family member but also a former colleague and a true friend of the Capt in question. I am a friend and only wish ...

I found that I was paying alot on the exchange so I got an US dollar Mosaik Mastercard. They are pretty new, and work just like their Canadian partners. You can apply through a BMO or over the phone. Also you can get Airmile rewards with it too. The only issues I've had are paying it off. You can on...

Islander Pilots
Hey all, I have a lead for a 6 month position in the St. Maarten/Anguila area...not sure about any details, but they are looking for a pilot starting asap, with Islander time already, preferably with a current PPC or PPC in general. It's a 6 month contract to start and then a chance to re-new at tha...

Hang in there Clunckdriver. When I got one of my first flying jobs (which wasn't too long ago) I would have given my right arm (and my days off) for another day of flying, and years later I'm still like that. The newest wave of pilots coming are more then willing to do almost anything to get those f...
