A lot of us do not know who Twotter is. If you are so open perhaps you could post your name for the rest of us?

Again....like someone said before....no 250 Hour wonders at JAZZ yet. So the YYZ incident has nothing to do with the college program (which I by the way think is bullshat) or lack of experience.

Terrace - Pasco / Hawkair

Just heard Pasco is launching twice daily service to Terrace os the SAAB. Haven't heard that they are officially done yet...but this obviously can't be good news for Hawkair.

What gives? There isn't room for three carriers on this route...

HawkAir

Just curious what the latest news on HawkAir is..... Heard they pulled out of Ft. St. John & Dawson Creek this week....cause BarXH took one of their Dash 8s for Crew Changes in the patch. So that leaves them with a couple sked to Rupert and Terrace with what....1 aircraft? or 2? Are they pretty much...

....but you can buy the "company" to get an OC. I have no idea what Bar XH plans...but in theory it could just be a paper transaction.....keep the bare bones shell of the company to maintain the OC....dump/sell off what few assets Hawkair has left that aren't needed....and in time change the company...

I too hear that loads are decent....however I believe the yield per seat is not doing very well. Hawkair is going to have to show the judge something positive on the financial front in January if they are to stay around.

Generally speaking....doesn't one know what the salary/per diems are before accepting a job? If one doesn't like it....why take it? With a few exceptions, most companies pay what they can afford. Sure we'd all like (and could use) more money in the bank, but... In the words of an infamous sports per...

In general it is cheaper for airlines (in the long run) to hire and train a younger pilot. The theory being they will be with you for 30-40 years. But even at 40 years of age the company is still getting close to 20 year sout of them potentially. .....and chances are.....they bring a wealth of exper...

I'm not terribly familiar with the hiring practices of NavAir...but other than the infamous Regency/Sonic Blue who actually charged/sold PPCs in Vancouver......nobody that I know of.
