If it's flight training related, ask the question. No one owns this forum, it is what we make it. Be courteous. Weather is a huge component of ALL pilots knowledge base and not a single one of us knows it all.

I for one just wrote my cpl written and found that the AWM was worth the investment.

ELR/DALR/SALR don't apply in the strat. do they? Thought the tropopause was the limit. Air stability and radiation? Wind direction and speed will veer and increase with alt. Just think, surface friction will cause it to slow and back. "TSMT Trop, Strat, Meso, and Thermosphere, and the area between t...

Logbook records

When logging a dual night xc flight. Do we log dual night under s.e. and dual under x.c. and night x.c? Or do we leave out the night x.c?

Using the Hammond Aviation logbook. (Canada)

Lots of ref to ground reference in the AIM and CARs. What's the context? VFROTT? approach bans? RVR?

Sounds like it could be a good thread if you'd be more specific.

Get rid of the obviously wrong answers then reread the question. Make sure you read it all. Don't skip ands/ors. Most people will skip a lot of words when reading, the brain sub(un)conciously fills it the blanks, not always correctly. And don't worry about time, there will be enough if you're prepar...
