Re: Any Update On The New Contract?
Don't hold your breath. It was negotiated by the same negotiation team that brought us this current garbage contract. More concessions coming in order to foster increased retention and recruitment. . Vote it down. "You deserve better." Clearly the company still has no respect for the pilot g...

Re: New Payscale?
How long of a term is the new contract that was signed at Flair? I expect no pay increases will be coming until the end of that term. Flair pilots agreed to it and therefor seem to be stuck with it. It is very rare for companies just to throw more money out there. Porter is doing it because they kn...

Commuting is doable? Is that a joke?
ULCC is fly where you are based. You will be miserable commuting. If you get an offer it is what it is.

What ever Flair is doing in the hiring process, it is working well. No matter the experience level, we are taking on exceptional individuals that are very switched on.

Re: Agreement in Principle reached
I don't see AC making historic wage gains as it's all supply and demand and currently there is no issue on the supply side for AC pilot recruiting. Maybe if all WJ/Encore pilots stop filling AC PIT classes that would change it, but based on this AIP I'm not sure if that will be the case. The worst ...

Re: ground schools canceled
I think there are great benefits to being at Flair, and the working relationship with the company and management is far superior to what the large carriers have to offer. I suppose it depends on what you value, and there's a lot of value in what Flair has to offer. What are the great benefits? Wher...

I think the largest concern was that anyone on credit/in debt was going to come forward and call upon said debt during a portion of peak travel season (after the repo), We must have had an injection of cash, and we survived that busy portion...thus status quo. No need to make any lateral jumps as o...

Re: ground schools canceled
Wait a second people - we are forgetting one thing here. At least the CP had the decency to come on here and talk and answer questions about the hiring processes and environment at Flair. I think that says a lot about his/her character. With the current goings on and this pending lawsuit, I am sure...

BleedAIr Valve, exactly. The only leadership we as Flair pilots have seen thus far has been from Flight Ops. Not the CEO. Not the Union. Honesty and transparency is key.

To be fair, these guys (Flt Ops Management) were blind sided by this and completely unaware of what was about to unfold.
At least management is trying to give us some information. The MEC? Here's a hotline to call someone who cares. These guys need to go.

Any merit to this rumour? All hiring and training: As in, Command Upgrade Training? Any base reductions? Not a good time to upset those already awarded upgrades and not follow through. Likewise with shuffling bases. Moving is not cheap. I hope some management can weigh in on this via townhall or here.

Re: 4 Flair aircraft seized
Flair has always paid salaries on time. What about payroll "errors"? What about vacation pay from previous years? What about triple time owed? What about the vacation pay grievance this year? What about retro pay? Don't worry, it's coming in XX days. Or do those not count? Arrears with lessors, mai...

co-joe, I'm not sure if you are one of the 3 MEC members or if you gunning for a management position. Your continuous muttering is bordering on disgusting. Alright so here goes nothing.. First of all, there's absolutely no point attacking someone on a personal level. At all. Management or line pilot, doesn't matter. You can't attack a guy who is doing his job, you can certainly be of completely opposite opinions but remaining just a little professiona...

39.1.1 This Agreement shall be in effect from January 1, 2023 and shall continue in full force and effect until its expiry date of December 31, 2025. Again, not to be confused with Jan 13th, where as payroll is adjusted at that time for 01 January pay and onward. The CBA we see posted will likely h...
