Re: Dreamliner Down in India

Was there a jumpseater on this flight? Unfortunately it wouldn't be the 1st time a jumpseater caused issues ie Fed Ex DC10

Re: US B-2 Mission

Sorry, blaming "go pills' was part of a desperate defense for his actions, weighing only slightly above "my parent spanked me as a kid" for legitimacy.

Re: Hydro Quebec buys ATR 72-600's

Did anyone even look at the numbers for the ATR on floats? It's only 2000lbs heavier, and slows down only 15kts. Sure it's got more power, but it's just removing the de-rate on the same engine. Meaning altitude performance is unaffected. 15kt loss in TAS, yeah right. Aerodynamic destabilizing effec...

Hydro Quebec buys ATR 72-600's

https://www.atr-aircraft.com/news/atr-continues-to-grow-in-canada/ With their Q400's now 20 years old and their -300 turning 30 next year, there is only one option out there right now. Re: Perimeter/Bearskin hiring so many departments

Perimeter would rather have salary than a flight credit system, ALPA wants hour credit system. I believe they'd end up having to pay more to pilots on flight hour credit system. Yes, both are represented by ALPA. I'm afraid you've very likely been misled. Ask a Perimeter pilot or rep to explain how...

Re: Bearskin WAWCON post perimeter merger

MECfastread said Company offered COLA increases to start because it's been stagnant for so long. Rumours from Thunder Bay is that ALPA hasn't sent a full shopping list still. Did they end up increasing the wages? No, ALPA told the pilots they were declining it on principle. They also mocked managem...
