Re: Being a smoker in the airlines.
When I was working up north it wasn't that hard to sneak a smoke between flights, in the Airlines its almost impossible now without a huge headache... My advise is to read the book Allen Carrs easy way to quit smoking and be done with it!

I think they're being very careful to balance their courses too... I've noticed a balance in each course from various areas such as Jazz, the Military, French Speaking, only one from any company per course, and people from various levels and positions in aviation, etc all seem very evenly split for ...

I have to agree with 737Mech... I can tell you at Canjet, no conversations include discussions about applications with Jazz, especially since the peak of hiring there is over... I know many pilots that chose CJ over Jazz back in the fall... And Canjet Captains applying there? Hmmm... Don't get me wr...

Used to Montreal and Toronto? Definately Winnipeg! More things to do that medium sized cities have to offer, like concerts, professional sports, variety of shopping etc... More diversity... Most the outdoor stuff is close by too, although not as good as Thunder Bay which is a nice city as well but a...

If you send them a resume and cover letter you will receive an application form and PRN#... Or you will get your PRN# from them upon your first reply from them with an application form filled out... Better have most of the morning to fill the thing in, and a couple years before you will start work i...

WS739... Why must you jump to such quick conclusions about SG... Low fuel? After a year with them I never went below cars limits on fuel... NEVER! Low Trained Pilots? Have you ever been down in the sim in MIA with them? The experience level of flight crew was amazing, and standards in the sim and al...

I totally agree with RB... I bought a couple hours of sim time shared with a buddy of mine before we headed for a sim evaluation with a company in Asia... The cost was high but it made the evaluation go alot smoother with alot more confidence... Remember you will need a sim operator (prob from the s...
