Specialty Tools
I'm working on finishing up everything for my M1's and was wondering what kinds of tools you guys are using out there. I already have the basics like 12pt sockets, screwdrivers, etc etc etc but wanna know what other stuff makes the job easier.

Doesn't look like it's any different on civvie street either. I'd like to say we should all throw down our tools for a day or two and see how much mayhem it causes but we're all too proud of what we do to do that. I wonder when the people that make important decisions will finally smarten up and rea...

M1 or M2?????
Got a quick question for the great minds here. I'm currently working towards my M license and will be using my military experience towards it. The experience I have is only on the Herc (L382) so I'm assuming it falls under the M2 category. When I go and get the 6 months civvie experience req'd by TC...

Jazz/Westjet/Skylink
Anyone work for these companies or know what working conditions/pay are like for these guys? The websites all say they're hiring M1's and M2's but does anyone know if that's still going on or not? For Jazz it would be either London or Pearson, Westjet at Pearson and I'd imagine Skylink runs out of P...

Hey fella's, got a question for you guys. Been keeping an eye on the job scene in Southern Ontario and noticed that Westjet/Jazz/AC/Skylink are all hiring M1's/M2's for the Toronto area. I've got 6 years in the Forces as an AVN tech (all of that time on the C-130) but the way things are going, I'm l...

Pete, I felt the same way as you. I looked at getting into aviation as a pilot but after going to college and getting a diploma (immediately after 9/11) there wasn't a whole lot in the way of jobs and overall, the industry looked pretty bleak back then. I joined the Forces in 2002 as an AVN Tech and...

Hi guys, looking into buying a Cessna 120 that's based in Delta. Does anyone know of any shops in that area that are familiar with the type so I could get a pre-buy inspection or even an annual done? Looking for someplace other than Delta so I can get an unbiased inspection done.
Thanks,
Tony
Thanks,
Tony

Hi guys, Here's the deal. I've been flying recreationally off and on for about 8 years now. Got a PPL and about 240 hours on light singles. I'm a flight test and a written away from my CPL and my IFR. Back in the day, I started out looking at getting in to the industry, 9/11 happened and things look...
