Hi IcePharaoh, Depending on the type we do have some availability there at the moment. Historically YVR has been a fairly popular base so movement there is based on a number of factors such as our growth and current pilots holding the base upgrading or changing types. Hope that helps! Isn't 500 hrs on type a requirement though? From what I remember of their upgrade matrix yes. Perhaps a Porter pilot can confirm? Given the hours the Q FOs fly it might take a while to make that upgrade. Also, does Porter count YOS on the E175 for the E2 starting pay like they do with the Q? If so ...

Do YVR pilots often find themselves flying on the east coast as well? I can see it happening more fluidly on the CRJ with the routes linking up in the middle, but what about the Q400? How would that work? Deadhead on an AC flight?
