Re: What exactly does this mean?

Businesses with over a certain number of employees are required to have a representative cross section of employees, and he may be required to hire the minority in order to comply with that. I'm not saying I agree with it, but it's the way it is. I do not believe that this is accurate. Can you cite...

Re: Aviation-economy

I think that despite the economy is slowing down, the aviation field will continue to expand. This slow down is not to be compared with the last one (11-2001). What do you think? I think you're being somewhat optimistic. Historically, economic slow-downs affect the transportation sector more than o...

It was all about quality control and liability. The company could not directly control quality of the fuel if it ...

What part of this is so hard to understand? 62 year old CP with 15,000 hours who knew that a company ho arrived 10 minutes earlier. Should that have any impact on the bandit's crew's respect for adhering to SOPs? Not at all. Do you think that those factors played a role in this accident? Do you thi...

This is a scary situation we've got here.... Agreed. My sympathies. Thank you for pursuing this. I hope you achieve success through your efforts. Regardless of what happens from Widow's pursuit of this as a regulatory issue, I do think that this incident should serve as a wake up call for pilots an...

Notwithstanding the accident flight, and notwithstanding the COM specified procedures, I'm curious what the typical flight following activities were with MJM. Was the lack of communication here the exception to the rule or was the (non) flight following working the way that it always worked? I think...

What if they would prefer to work on the ramp than at McDonalds? "If I can't fly for you, I would prefer not to work on the ramp thankyou. Please contact me at McDonalds when a seat opens up." or "I'm sorry - I don't have any flying positions right now. I do need a ramp attendant however because you...

So let me get this straight. Pilots shouldn't take a job working the ramp because it will make it difficult for them to obtain a PPC. Right? What if they were to just purchase their own PPC? Wouldn't that make them more attractive to an employer and more likely to go right seat immediately after fin...
