Thursday Boots have an incredible line of quality boots including black leather Chelsea. Once you try on a pair, you’ll never want to own anything else.

Re: Flair still searching for capital infusion

EBITDA of $14M means very little. It's well known that Flair is heavily indebted to 777 and others. Given they have a lean business model, I would bet they had a net loss of around -$20M. Could be as high as -$30M. They didn't make a mention of their margins. As a frame of reference, using TRZ beca...

I did interview about 2 weeks ago.
Does anyone get an email or callback from them?
Thanks.
The last of the interviews of this bunch was last week. I'm guessing they are probably meeting this week to go over notes, scores and make decision and next week start calling references.

Didn't they just have a PA31 go down recently in the U.S.? 51k for Navajo captain is like 2010 wages.

Bases are assigned second day. HR hates these ads because you are not applying to a specific base, you could be assigned any base that is available at the time of your class.

IMO, the company also has a perception issue to fix regarding upgrades; a lot of people believe it will hinder their chances at getting hired by Air Canada; which is hopefully just a rumor. I too have heard this 'rumor' have spoken to a couple FOs at AC that think they would have flowed to AC soone...

I’m curious. Has anyone failed the instructor class 4 FT more than 2 times and successfully passed and still able to obtain a job? If anyone can elaborate some any crazy stories. I’m always thinking about the worse possible case. What if a candidate passes in a 2nd or even Third attempt. As to the ...

Re: What’s Going on at Jazz?

The fairest seniority solution in the event of a merger is date of hire. No company rebid so that no pilot is kicked from their seat. Any pilot who was at Jazz and was hired into AC from QK would have their original QK hire date honoured. That said, AC is not purchasing QK. The crewing costs would ...

No lockout. Government will push it to arbitration and AC pilots will get 30-34% increase and that will be the end of it.

Re: What’s Going on at Jazz?

Selling to AC would be a logical move. They could keep the left seat at Jazz filled as seniority would be accrued and wouldn’t have to worry about flow, captain-qualifying pilots jumping ship or pipeline.

American wages are high for one simple reason - they make it very hard for foreigners to get in. In fact it's the governments responsibility to protect American jobs. In Canada if there is a shortage, the government allows airlines to bring in pilots and where do they come from? Most likely South ea...

Quite a few EK and EY captains have found their way into DEC jobs (Cargojet, Flair, etc). I don’t understand, are you saying this as a good thing? Swoop as an example probably had a few and those positions were created and did the job of bargaining capital for the company, so expats coming home and...

Those MNR airports up north are generally always well maintained, well the runways at least... Can’t say the same for the municipal airports though. One is seen as a drain on local tax dollars, the other one is the only reasonable lifeline for food and medical care. Anyone new to flying up that way...

Generally you should get a response with link to questionnaire about experience within a week and a week after that, a call from HR to confirm your details and schedule your interview.
