Seems to be a lot of insulting going on in this thread. Another useful thread derailed. This will be locked until I have move time to go through the post.

Re: Hire me forum
Thanks for this. When I approve a resume I often ask the author to let me know how they make out. I have actually never heard from anyone so this is nice to see. Good to see that posting on here can make a difference but don't use this as your only resource, make sure that you new guys get a proper ...

The two of you want to continue this pettyness do so by pm. This is reminisant of two kids in the school yard arguing over whos dad is bigger. I will be removing the treats as soon as I am done here and make one of my own, you two continue and you'll both be given some time off.

Re: Memorable flight.
My wife gave me a glider flight as an anniversary gift years ago. On a warm and sunny day in June I went up for the first and only time. It wasn't that I didn't like the ride, quite the oposite, I loved it, but the cost of doing it was just too over the top for this cheap government employee.

Re: Police/Fire/Paramedic
You could be a part time paramedic in BC provided you have the training now. I say that because the training for PCP in BC is anywheres from 4 to 6 months depending on preceptor time and the cost for that is about $10 to $12 thousand depending on location and expenses. Part time in BC though is a re...

Probably a stupid question for which I already know the answer but, why would AC buy Brazilian aircraft and not purchase from a canadian company? Sorry for the thread drift. Just Pm me with your thoughts so this does not go south.

This thread was about someone thanking a company for a letter of apology. It degraded into a pissing match between two companies. I have removed those comments and ask that if you have nothing to add regarding the spirit of the thread than don't.

So I have removed all the off topic comments. The bond issue has been discussed here Ad nauseam but if you need to open yet another thread about it do so. Remember to keep your comments respectful. For some reason this topic brings out the worst in some posters.

I think every parent struggles with this question regardless of what career you're in. I would not have wanted my children to become paramedics in B.C.. Anywheres else in Canada would be fine.

My wife flies a lot for business and avoids AC like dog poop. After being left to fend for herself at Newark Airport she vows to never fly AC again if she has control. Her Air Canada mantra is "Air Canada is not happy until you are not happy".

As with any professional career, debt is unavoidable. From my experience with my son, you will not get rich in the profession but you will eventually make a liveable wage, it's surviving the in between that is the hardest part.

Re: A request of the Moderators
Over the years I have been one of the least active mods on here. Until recently I would let things go that would have easily had me booted from my professional board. When I do moderate I inevitably get a poison PM calling me names and worse. The rules are some of the most lax that I have seen on a ...

Re: Pilot vs. Doctor Pay
Cat, You seem to only point out the bare minimum amount of skills one requires to become a pilot. You fail to even accept that now days in order to become a truly competent and professional pilot, one must go above and beyond the simplistic view you take about what becoming a pilot entails. I shock...
