Re: Class Action Suit Against Westjet.
The new-age thinking gurus would have us think that obesity, smoking, paedofilia, drugs and aviation are ALL diseases and if you just so happen to be at the wrong place at the right time, you too could get the treatable disease ( except aviation, its incurable)

I dont know where Jon's head is right now and im NOT excusing the memory card fiasco, but as a fellow hangglider and Comm pilot/ AME who has been in aviation for more than 27 years, I can certainly speak about procedures, checks and double checks and a safety CULTURE that doesnt impede our freedoms ...

Re: 406 Elts: when are they mandatory for private aircraft?
Elt deflection requirements should be adhered to. It is .100 inch with 100 pound pull force. Most 121.5 ELT installations now fail that requirement. All in all, a proper install is 8 hrs. labour.

Re: Probably the best written flying job ad ever
If you put an ad in saying that if you send a resume in and you dont have an ATPL as required, then we will hunt you down and remove one of your B ___S. I would imagine there still will be dozens of "applicants" sending in their resumes without having their ATPL. WHY do people do this ? Great ad BTW...
