Late my 30 min. A friend of mine was, stormed the plane with guns aimed, yelling hands up! No Show I suggest don't be! They will be looking for you, suspecting you went else where or you were potential hiding something. Not sure exactly what they would do, but there could be rather serious repercuss...

See it on top there? Not a GNS480! Yet in the biggest A/C in the world!
But who wouldn't fly it in a heart beat!?!?!?! I love Russian planes!

Indeed costermonger, what is with the curtains? Now all they need to be real Russians is the fans in the cockpit, maybe an antiquated GPS on the glare shield and a hat like this!...

You know what makes this easier...

Aircraft - "ABC 123 is requesting the OPTION for the contact."

Controller - "ABC 123, the option for the contact is approved."

Use it if you can, if not, just takes perhaps an extra couple of minutes for the approach.

The Dude, I've been over there and many other mountains a few hundred feet over the tops, and it's been smooth as glass; other times bumpy as hell 2000' above or more. My suggestion to you is to check the GFA's, Pireps and SIGMETS for the day. Out flow wind days...BAD! Early morning can be a good ti...

definately not right.
numbers are right for a mojave, maybe someone made a mistake on that site.
don't have the POH with me, but those numbers could be right at say... 20,000' with the power bumped up a bit.
But then again, how many operators run a Chieftain at 20,000'?!?!?!

Wadd, as Swamp Donkey and snagmaster_e say, leave it at home, that's what I would expect! Common Sense. Especially if one does not have a backup.
