ELT Heard around 8am Mountain Standard Time Aug 16 CYEG-CYQR

Picked up an ELT signal this morning about midway from Regina to Edmonton. Anyone else hear it or have any word on what it was? Nothing serious I hope.

Re: Jazz spots for March/April

It's all pretty random, it's really just luck of the draw and what spots need to be filled. Feb 4th was 2 YVR Dash8, 2 YYC RJ, 2 YYZ RJ, 3 YUL RJ

I was just called for an interview for Dec.18 in YYZ.

What can I expect in terms of the interview, pysch. eval and the cog???

It's best to upload your resume & coverletter as a file instead of copy and pasting.

Canadian Air charters hires 250hr pilots for the right seat of a navajo. The CP is an awesome guy. Try them (based at the Esso Avitat in YVR)

Just make sure to have a good set of tires on your vehicle if you do decide to drive. If its snowing wilst going through Roger's Pass it can be pretty nasty.

I don't know what I'm going to be doing at this point, right now i'm trying to gather as much information as I can to make an informed decision. Obviously there are many things to consider, and I do not want to make any decision based on lack of or wrong information.

Is working the two overtime days a guarantee if you choose to do so or is it more of a 50/50 chance?

Has anyone been able to find the ATC feed? That would certainly clear up a few questions and speculations. I looked on liveatc.net but the feed for the time of the accident is not currently available.

My condolences to the family, friends and co workers of those involved

A Heads Up for Low Timers Looking Work In CYYC

Sunwest is now hiring low time pilots (300hrs TT min.) with MIFR's to work the ramp part time and fly F/O on the Navajo bag runs part time.

Don't know how many or any details but hope this can help anybody out looking for work.
