Re: N103CD Gulfstream GIII aborts t/o nose gear collapse Nov
Sounds like the crew lined up the jet with the white line on the right side of the runway thinking it was the centerline - main wheels went off the runway on take off roll - take off was aborted - sounds like nose wheel separation followed by collapse onto nose. Yet to be confirmed - but comments fr...

What would you do with 10 HondaJets ???
There have been some big failures in the light jet market - from Day Jet in the USA to several companies in Europe that barely got off the ground and then went nowhere. In Canada we have AirSprint - and in USA they have Wheels Up and JetSuite. Of these JetSuite - which operate Phenom 100's and CJ3's...

Re: Cargo door falls off Lear 60 - Bono onboard
Aircraft is a 15 year old Lear 60 - used to by Daimler Chrysler's - and operated by a jet charter service in Germany. My understanding crew passing thru 8000' on descent into Berlin realized the door was open, they just continued the approach normally - and saw the door and luggage was missing once ...

Hearing the crane the Lear hit is 4 miles from the airfield - Lear reportedly exploded when it collided with crane. Rather than post the photo - passengers and crew pose with N17UF prior to boarding - incredibly sad to think 24 hours ago these people were excited about their flight - and now are all...

Re: King Air crashes into Flight Safety building in Wichita
Interesting side note, the pilot had just retired as an Air Traffic Controller at KICT - seems odd he'd take the time to call ATC as ur banking left at 150 feet without an engine?
The 2009 King Air was on a delivery flight from Beechcraft to it's new owner in Texas.

Witnesses reported the plane had its landing gear down before it hit the Flight Safety International building at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. The pilot and t...

Some news reports are aircraft hit snowplow and flipped inverted, several others say aircaft went airbourne and crashed returning to field. Seems much more likely it hit the truck and crashed. Aircraft is a 2006 Falcon 50EX it was registered to a French pharmaceutical company - Sanofi-Aventis Groupe...
